Supply Chain & Logistics Manager

Role Overview
Aquatop Egypt is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize all import and supply chain operations.
This role operates within a lean administrative department, working closely with the Communications Specialist & Office Manager, and directly supporting the Operations Director and Managing Director. The position requires a high level of ownership, coordination, and hands-on execution.
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Egyptian import regulations and digital systems, particularly CargoX and the Nafeza (ACI) platform, ensuring full compliance with national requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Management
Plan and execute end-to-end supply chain activities from procurement to final delivery
Monitor shipments, supplier performance, and stock flow to ensure efficiency and continuity
Maintain strong relationships with international suppliers and logistics partners
Import & Logistics Operations
Manage all import processes including documentation, shipment tracking, and customs clearance
Ensure full compliance with ACI (Advance Cargo Information) requirements
Handle and oversee transactions on CargoX and Nafeza platforms
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and port authorities
Proactively resolve delays, clearance issues, and cost risks (e.g., demurrage)
Regulatory Compliance
Stay up to date with Egyptian customs laws, duties, VAT, and import regulations
Ensure all documentation and processes meet governmental standards
Adapt quickly to regulatory updates and system changes
Coordination & Internal Alignment
Work closely with the Communications Specialist & Office Manager to ensure operational alignment
Report directly to the Operations Director and Managing Director
Support leadership with planning, reporting, and issue resolution
Process Optimization
Identify inefficiencies and improve import and logistics workflows
Implement tracking systems for shipments, timelines, and costs
Drive cost control while maintaining service quality and reliability
Product Exposure (Preferred)
Aquatop operates across specialized product categories including:
Taps & fittings
Sanitary ware
Bathroom furniture
Wellness solutions (spa equipment, saunas, steam units)
Each category involves specific technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
Experience handling similar product groups or regulated imports is highly preferred, but not mandatory.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of experience in import logistics and supply chain management
Strong working knowledge of CargoX and Nafeza (ACI system) is essential
Proven experience with Egyptian customs clearance processes

High attention to detail, especially in compliance and documentation
Ability to operate independently in a small, high-responsibility team
Clear communication and coordination skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics systems

On-time clearance rate (shipments cleared without delays)
Average customs clearance lead time
ACI compliance accuracy (CargoX/Nafeza error-free submissions)
Reduction in demurrage and storage costs
Accuracy and timeliness of shipment tracking and reporting
Supplier and freight forwarder performance adherence
Cost optimization across freight and clearance
Speed of issue resolution
Zero regulatory violations or penalties
Work Environment
Lean, high-impact two-person administrative team
Direct exposure to senior leadership and decision-making
Hands-on role with both operational and strategic responsibilities
