Supply Chain Manager Experience in Logistics & Mobility industry 9 to11 Years
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Supply Chain Management:
- Lead and manage end-to-end supply chain operations, overseeing both direct and indirect procurement activities to ensure alignment with business objectives, cost targets, and service levels.
- Manage indirect procurement operations, structured across local suppliers and import suppliers, ensuring effective sourcing strategies, supplier compliance, and optimal commercial terms for each segment.
- Oversee and lead all supply chainrelated teams, including procurement, supplier management, planning, and coordination functions, ensuring clear accountability, performance management, and capability development.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve supply chain strategies to support current operations and any new business lines, products, or services introduced in the future.
- Coordinate closely with the logistics function to ensure efficient inbound and outbound transportation, optimized lead times, inventory availability, and cost control across local and international shipments.
- Establish, monitor, and analyze supply chain KPIs (including on-time delivery, inventory levels, supplier performance, and cost efficiency), driving corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks related to suppliers, logistics, and market changes, developing contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted operations and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with key suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to enhance supply continuity, quality, and long-term value.
- Demand Planning and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and import plans.
- Analyze market trends, customer demand patterns, and sales data to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align manufacturing capacities, production schedules, and procurement activities with customer demand.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the supply chain function.
- Implement lean principles and best practices to streamline operations, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to implement improvement initiatives, monitor their effectiveness, and achieve measurable results.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on supply chain performance, customer account status, and key metrics.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis and market intelligence.
- Financial Duties:
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with finance and other departments to develop and maintain budgets for the supply chain and account management functions.
- Forecast future material and service costs, sales, and profitability for assigned accounts.
- Oversee the daily financial activities within the supply chain and account management functions, ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures through process improvement, supplier optimization, and negotiation strategies.
- Analyze financial data related to supply chain activities and account performance, including cost per unit, inventory levels, and profitability margins.
- Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting key financial metrics, trends, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Supplier Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance.
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards, delivery schedules, and cost targets.
- Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as cost reduction, process optimization, and quality enhancements.
- Resolve supplier-related issues, including quality concerns, delivery delays, and pricing discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Negotiation, Pricing, and Inventory Management:
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms with suppliers and customers, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and risk management strategies.
- Analyze the cost-benefit of new supplier partnerships and customer contracts.
- Develop and implement price list for all local and international brands.
- Analyze inventory levels and costs to optimize inventory holding, minimizing storage costs and stockouts.
- Ensure efficient inventory turnover while maintaining adequate stock to meet customer demand.
- Team Management Duties:
- Manage the staff effectively:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to develop and execute customer account plans and strategies.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service and support.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, Supply Chain or any related field.
- Years of Experience:
- Minimum of 10 in a similar role.
- Proven experience in supply chain management and account management within the automotive industry.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role.
- Certificates:
- MBA is a plus.
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
