Job Description

Major Accountabilities

  • Lead and drive effective execution Sales & Business planning (S&BP) process.
  • Establish one common Demand Plan for the entire product portfolio by analyzing customer and marketing data.
  • Liaising with Finance and Commercial and monitoring trends in the marketplace
  • Manage targeted inventory levels, ensure the replenishment process is in line with supply plans and ensures timely availability of products
  • Ensure Inventory targets are achieved and minimal obsolescence of material
  • Develop, maintain & report on KPI's for Supply Chain area of responsibility
  • Work with various cross-functional teams on projects such as new product launches, Regulatory initiatives/changes impacting product availability line extensions, product discontinuations.
  • Initiates updates on the supply planning master data where necessary.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Advanced analytical and forecasting skills, proven ability to interpret trends and generate actionable plans.
  • High attention to details and commitment to procedural compliance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate decision making.
  • Experience with dynamic and complex supply chains is preferred.
  • Pharma Industry /Generics Retail or Wholesale knowledge
  • Results driven with ability to lead through influence.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential.

Education

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or business discipline required, APICS certification is a plus.

Work Experience

  • 7+ years experience in supply chain planning , preferably in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven experience in forecasting , S&OP and inventory management.
  • Proficient with MRP/ERP systems , specially SAP as well as other Microsoft applications.
