Manage end to end Territory Supply Chain Operations: Handling shipments for stocks movement from vendor place to territories and ensure to reach the stocks to territories as per schedules. Also including Vendor Management, Liners / Forwarders Management, Supply Chain Banking Operations, Products and Documentation compliance, Warehouse management, GOEIC operations, Managing Ecom operations, End to End Supply Chain Operations.
Responsibilities
1. Supply Chain / Logistics Strategy
- Manage Supply Chain and Logistics function of Territory
- Planning and Forecasting Logistics needs of the territory in line with Business Plan
- Build a sound, effective and motivated supply chain team
- Ensure On time product availability
- Create strong Supply Chain team and structure across concept operations ensuring right person in right job and exposing team members to challenges. Train and motivate team members in respective roles
- Achieve territory supply chain cost at par with Group Guidelines.
- Ensure to move the merchandise as per stock position / Capacity
- Ensure to control cost with freight optimization at Operations Liner/Forwarders nominations
- Ensure regular assessment of Supply Chain Operations and guidelines and review them from time to time as per the concept requirements
- Finalize standard operating procedures for new markets in consultation with the corporate team for Supply Chain Operations
- Study the requirement of new market and present the logistic challenges in the market in consultation with the corporate team
- Support various business improvement projects with Concept / Corporate
2. Supply Chain / Logistics Operations/Warehouse Operations
- Product inflow planning in co-ordination with Planning and Buying team
- Ensuring to minimize lead times between Origin and arrival port as well as receiving at Warehouse
- Effective supply chain Operations control
- Ensures to control the additional cost - Demurrage and Port Storages
- Monitor and review merchandise is received on time from Vendors to territories/RDC's as per plan
- Ensure for effective negotiation of air, sea and road freight rates Ex works and Air Shipments
- Ensure effective Freight management - availability, planning & rates
- Prepare and review monthly reports to improve concept logistics efficiency and productivity
- Monitor Management Information system and identify/report exceptions to policy and procedure
- Liaise with corporate logistics, territories & suppliers to ensure on-time movement of goods and stock
- Monitor delivery lead time for the concept and review exceptions monthly basis
- Monitor defaulting suppliers with notices in line with the business trading terms
- Ensure timely receipt of shipments as per agreed shipment schedules
- Ensure to make the vendor remittances on time
- Ensure for product compliance country wise
- Carton Markings standardization territory wise
- Generating and preparing monthly MIS reports and submitting the same to Management.
- Ensuring regulatory & statutory compliance with respect to Country / local law (GOEIC)
- Managing E Com negotiate the terms with Third Party logistic partner, Monitoring timely delivery to customers, timely banking of COD orders.
3. People Management
- Monitor team development and facilitate complaint resolution
- Set KPI's for direct reports and conduct performance appraisal
- Oversee staff deployment and drive motivation levels of the direct reportees
Qualifications
- 7 to 8 years of experience in supply chain operations.
- Bachelor's degree in SCM or Business Administration.
- Retail background is certainly a plus.
- Excellent command in English.
- A hands-on experience with systems.
