DISTRIBUTOR OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
Strategic Distributor Partnership
- Serve as the primary operational contact and relationship owner for KSA's distributors
- Build and maintain strong senior and operational relationships within distributor organizations
- Conduct weekly operational reviews and monthly business reviews covering performance, financials, and strategic initiatives
Operational Performance & SLA Management
- Monitor and enforce compliance with all contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for distributor operations
- Track and optimize key distributor metrics: OTIF delivery, order fill rates, inventory accuracy, waste and cycle times
- Ensure distributors maintain optimal inventory levels as per contractual agreement, balancing service levels with working capital efficiency
Commercial & Cost Management Support
- Support negotiations on distributor commercial terms, logistics fees, and supply chain allowances
- Track and optimize distributor cost structures including warehousing, transportation, and handling charges
Traditional Trade Execution (Distributor-Led Sales)
- Ensure distributors maintain adequate stock availability across their sales territories
- Monitor distributor sales execution, route coverage, and market penetration in traditional trade channels
DIRECT RETAIL CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT
Key Account Relationship Management
- Own and manage supply chain relationships with KSA's top 5 modern retail customers
- Serve as primary supply chain contact and escalation point for major retail accounts
Direct Retail Order Fulfillment via Distributor (as LSP)
- Oversee end-to-end order fulfillment for direct retail customers from order receipt through delivery
- Monitor the Distributor-as-LSP model where distributors provide logistics services for company-owned stock sold directly to retailers
- Ensure clear segregation and proper handling of direct retail stock (company-owned) versus distributor-owned inventory
INTEGRATED OPERATIONS & COORDINATION
Stock in Transit & Supply Visibility
- Maintain real-time visibility of inbound shipments from Europe and Dubai destined for KSA market
- Track stock in transit and coordinate with logistics teams on arrival schedules
- Manage KSA customs clearance coordination and documentation requirements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Demand Planning team on forecast accuracy, promotional planning, and new product launches
- Support Customer Service team with issue resolution for KSA market
Data Management, Analytics & Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive dashboards tracking distributor and retail customer performance
- Conduct monthly performance analysis identifying trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, Logistics, or related field
- Minimum 6-8 years of progressive supply chain experience in FMCG or consumer goods industries
- At least 4 years of experience in the KSA market with deep understanding of both traditional trade and modern retail dynamics
- Proven track record managing distributor relationships and driving operational performance
- Demonstrated experience managing direct relationships with major retail customers
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, transportation management, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Experience working in dual-channel distribution models (distributor-led and direct retail)
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerBI/Tableau, and ERP systems
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) Arabic preferred
Preferred:
- Professional certifications in supply chain management (APICS CPIM, CSCP, CSCMP, or equivalent)
- Experience working with multinational FMCG companies operating in the Middle East
- Previous experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise ERP systems
- Deep knowledge of major KSA retailers supply chain requirements and systems (EDI, portal systems)
- Understanding of KSA customs regulations, SFDA requirements, and local compliance standards
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Track record of successful cost optimization and process improvement initiatives
