Position Summary

The Supply Chain Specialist – Northwest Africa will support end-to-end supply chain activities for Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco, ensuring timely product availability, order execution, shipment follow-up, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role will support demand planning activities, distributor communication, importation follow-up, and supply risk management to ensure business continuity and compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage order processing and shipment follow-up for Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco.
  • Coordinate with distributors to ensure timely Purchase Orders, import permits, and required shipping documentation.
  • Support demand review and S&OP preparation through forecast updates, inventory tracking, and supply status reporting.
  • Monitor product availability, inventory levels, backorders, and shipment risks.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, and Manufacturing Sites to resolve operational issues.
  • Follow up on batch approvals, documentation readiness, and country-specific import requirements.
  • Maintain accurate trackers and provide regular updates on orders, shipments, risks, and key actions.
  • Escalate supply risks proactively and support mitigation plans to avoid supply disruption.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes, SOPs, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, Engineering,
  • 2–4 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Demand Planning, Customer Service, or Order Management.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Experience working with distributors, importation processes, or multinational stakeholders is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Technical Skills:

  • Good knowledge of supply chain operations, order management, inventory management, and international shipping documentation.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Good PowerPoint reporting skills.
  • SAP or ERP system experience is preferred.
  • Power BI or data visualization experience is a plus.
  • Good understanding of Incoterms, import permits, Letters of Credit, and shipping documents is preferred.
