Supply Chain Specialist - Renewable Energy

Key Responsibilities Handling the procurement end to end process. Plan, coordinate, and execute international and domestic shipments for solar PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, cables, transformers, and energy storage systems (batteries). Handle Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments. Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and transporters to secure optimal routing, rates, and transit times. Review and verify shipping documentation including: o Commercial Invoices o Packing Lists o Certificates of Origin o MSDS / SDS o DG Declarations o Bills of Lading / Air Waybills Monitor shipments from origin to final destination and proactively resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies. Monitor customs clearance processes in coordination with customs brokers. Support project logistics planning for renewable energy projects (site deliveries, phased shipments, oversized cargo). Negotiate freight rates and maintain a database of approved logistics vendors. Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and international trade regulations. Prepare logistics cost estimates and support project budgeting. Maintain accurate logistics records and shipment trackers. Issue final shipping documents to client side. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain, preferably within renewable energy, EPC, or industrial projects. Proven experience handling Dangerous Goods (especially lithium-ion batteries). Strong knowledge of Incoterms, international shipping practices, and customs procedures. Experience with sea freight, air freight, road transport, and multimodal shipments. Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP B1). Strong communication and coordination skills in English (written and spoken). Preferred / Asset Qualifications Experience with wind turbine components (blades, towers, nacelles, heavy-lift cargo). Experience working with international suppliers and projects in multiple countries. Familiarity with project cargo and oversized/heavy-lift shipments
