Supply Chain Warehouse Officer

Job Purpose

Our Procurement & Logistics teams deliver strategic sourcing, supply chain and logistics services across the Group, ensuring value, quality, continuity of supply and operational excellence!

As a Supply Chain Warehouse Officer in the Group Procurement & Supply Chain - Management, you will manage all day-to-day operations of the Uniform Distribution Centre. This includes, but is not limited to, issuing uniform items to Emirates Group employees according to their company entitlements, leading the inventory team to ensure stock levels are maintained and managed in accordance with Procurement and Logistics policies, and managing relationships with the various user departments.

This role operates across multiple Emirates Group facilities throughout Dubai and is not based at a single fixed location.

In This Role You Will

• Responsible for all measurements and the issuance of uniform items to Emirates employees according to their staff entitlements, while adhering to company standards and arrange the necessary adjustments or alterations as required.
• Review requisitions for the purchase of stock items to meet department demands in a timely manner. Constantly monitor and follow up on the status of items ordered with buyers and suppliers.
• Lead physical stocktakes, identify and reconcile discrepancies, and provide recommendations to the Procurement and Logistics Manager for approval and further discussion with Management Accounts.
• Ensure that all Uniform Distribution Centre employees provide excellent customer service, understand the needs of customers and relevant departments, and positively represent the Uniform Stores.
• Ensure that stock levels are maintained efficiently to minimise stockholding costs by analysing monthly cycle count inventory reports.
• Identify and address daily operational problems and find solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. Escalate issues to management when necessary.
• Support relevant projects as required within the scope of work of the Emirates Uniform Stores.
• Establish and monitor objectives for reporting employees, ensuring they have a consistent workload, remain motivated, and have their reviews completed on time.
  
  

Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

• Hold a Degree or Honours qualification (12+3 or equivalent).
• Have 5+ years of experience in non-aircraft procurement.
• Have experience in inventory management, including inventory control procedures, product stock management, data entry, and record keeping, preferably within the garment, apparel, or textile industry.
• Have 3+ years of experience at a supervisory level within a large service organisation.
• Nice to have: experience using Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
