We are currently hiring A Supply Lead for a very well known Multinational FMCG company located in the Fifth Settlement:
Role Purpose
Lead the end-to-end supply planning process, ensuring the delivery of customer service, inventory, and cost objectives while balancing manufacturing capacity, material availability, and demand volatility. Lead a team of four Supply Planners and work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Commercial, and Regional Planning teams to deliver an optimized supply plan across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supply Planners, driving capability building, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Support planning transformation initiatives, including implementation of new planning capabilities, digital tools, and process enhancements.
- Own the end-to-end supply planning process for the Chocolate category across multiple manufacturing sites and markets.
- Balance service, inventory, and cost through effective supply planning and scenario evaluation.
- Develop constrained and unconstrained supply plans by considering manufacturing capacity, labor, materials, and distribution constraints.
- Identify supply risks proactively and lead mitigation plans to minimize customer service impacts.
- Drive monthly Supply Review and contribute to the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by presenting key risks, opportunities, and scenario recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with Demand Planning to challenge assumptions, improve forecast alignment, and ensure feasible supply plans.
- Partner with Manufacturing to optimize production schedules, improve asset utilization, and support line efficiency.
- Lead inventory optimization initiatives to achieve working capital targets without compromising customer service.
- Coordinate new product launches, promotions, seasonal events, and portfolio changes to ensure successful execution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis, KPI reviews, and process standardization.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning within a multinational FMCG or Consumer Goods environment.
- Proven experience in Supply Planning, Production Planning, or End-to-End Planning, preferably within the chocolate, food, or confectionery category.
- Strong understanding of Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), inventory management, and capacity planning.
- Experience managing supply constraints, seasonal demand, new product launches, and complex manufacturing networks.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP, APO, o9, or similar).
- Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel and planning analytics tools.
- Experience working in cross-functional, matrix organizations with regional or multi-market responsibilities.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of people leadership experience, with a track record of coaching and developing planning teams.
