Main job duties and responsibilities:
- Perform topographic, boundary, layout, and as-built surveys using total stations, GPS, levels, and digital tools.
- Establish control points, benchmarks, and elevation references on construction sites.
- Carry out site leveling, grid marking, and alignment works for structures and utilities.
- Supervise and monitor the execution of survey activities in accordance with drawings and tolerances.
- Process survey data using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, or similar software.
- Prepare survey reports, as-built drawings, and coordinate drawings.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of spatial data collected on-site.
- Coordinate with engineering and drafting teams for survey-to-design alignment.
- Collaborate with site engineers, designers, and construction teams to ensure survey data supports project progress.
- Liaise with consultants and clients for verification and approval of survey benchmarks and layouts.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, project specifications, and industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM).
- Maintain complete logs of survey activities, equipment calibration records, and field notes.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies between design drawings and site conditions.
- Conduct quality checks on layout works before and after execution.
