Job Description

Main job duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform topographic, boundary, layout, and as-built surveys using total stations, GPS, levels, and digital tools.
  • Establish control points, benchmarks, and elevation references on construction sites.
  • Carry out site leveling, grid marking, and alignment works for structures and utilities.
  • Supervise and monitor the execution of survey activities in accordance with drawings and tolerances.
  • Process survey data using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, or similar software.
  • Prepare survey reports, as-built drawings, and coordinate drawings.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of spatial data collected on-site.
  • Coordinate with engineering and drafting teams for survey-to-design alignment.
  • Collaborate with site engineers, designers, and construction teams to ensure survey data supports project progress.
  • Liaise with consultants and clients for verification and approval of survey benchmarks and layouts.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, project specifications, and industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM).
  • Maintain complete logs of survey activities, equipment calibration records, and field notes.
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies between design drawings and site conditions.
  • Conduct quality checks on layout works before and after execution.

  • Job requirements:
  • Educational background and previous experience:
  • Bachelor's degree of Civil Engineering
