Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sustainability Consultant with a strong specialization in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to join our team. In this role, LCA will be your core focus, helping clients quantify environmental impacts and drive product and process improvements. You will also support GHG accounting, decarbonization planning, and net zero strategy development as part of broader climate and sustainability consulting services.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) in line with ISO 14040/44, using tools such as SimaPro, GaBi, or OpenLCA.
- Collect, analyse, and model environmental data across product value chains.
- Translate LCA results into actionable sustainability insights and recommendations for clients.
- Interpret and communicate LCA results to internal teams and clients in a clear, actionable manner.
- Prepare Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and contribute to eco-design initiatives.Stay current with developments in LCA methodology, databases (e.g. ecoinvent), and regulatory trends
- Assist clients in developing decarbonization roadmaps, identifying emissions hotspots and reduction opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of Net Zero strategies, including setting science-based targets (SBTi), tracking progress, and advising on carbon offsetting or insetting strategies.
- Support internal alignment with global climate disclosures (e.g. CDP, CSRD, TCFD).
- Collaborate with other sustainability consultants, designers, engineers, and supply chain specialists to integrate environmental insights into broader business strategies.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders through reports, workshops, and presentations.
- Support the preparation of proposals and contribute to business development efforts when needed.
Skills & Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Sustainability.
- Proven experience conducting LCA studies using industry-standard tools (e.g., SimaPro, GaBi, OpenLCA).
- Solid knowledge of LCA standards (ISO 14040/44), EPD processes, and relevant PCRs.
- Experience with GHG emissions accounting (Scope 13) and familiarity with carbon management frameworks.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex results for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree + Master's Degree on Environment/Sustainability / Sustainability Management / Sustainable Development or Environmental Engineering.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Technical or analytical skills in Excel, Power BI, Python are a bonus.
- Ability to translate complex technical results into client-friendly insights.
- Experience with data collection, environmental modelling, and sustainability metrics (e.g., GHG emissions, water footprint, material intensity).
