Role Description

This full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, involves working as a Switchboards Technical Office Electrical Engineer. The role includes day-to-day tasks such as preparing and reviewing electrical shop drawings, creating detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ), performing electrical engineering calculations, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and timelines while maintaining a high level of accuracy in all deliverables.

Qualifications

  • 3 years experience in preparing BOQs and project estimation.
  • Familiarity with Schneider/ABB/Legrand products and their application.
  • Short circuit & Voltage Drop calculations.
  • Issue Technical & Financial Quotations of Projects.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals for Tenders and create its BOQ.
  • Strong research skills to analyze project requirements and specifications.
  • Proficiency in negotiation and communication to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of LV and MV electrical panels, including design and manufacturing processes.
  • Create shop drawings of LV panels and MV switchboard.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard tools and software for estimation and engineering.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
