Implement marketing efforts targeting business opportunities.
Develop and execute business development plans to achieve assets & revenue growth targets.
Design new finance structures to match with client's requirement to provide optimum financing solutions.
Maintain strong relationships with clients & other banks to explore any potential financing opportunity, as a part of the marketing plan of the division.
Conduct transactions screening and due diligence process.
Review the term sheets comprising main terms & conditions and negotiating with clients, financial models covering the full aspects of the transactions & the credit proposals & memos which shall be in line with bank policies/ procedures and CBE regulations, followed by presenting them to the higher supervisory level.
Supervise the appointing process of the consultants / counsels for providing necessary services to the transactions, cooperate and following up with them.
Ensure that Transactions agreement and documentation are in line with the internal approvals and procedures and assuring the satisfaction of the related conditions.
Attend meetings related to conducting the transactions (either with clients, other banks, internal departments, consultants, etc.)
Coordinate with other stakeholders to ensure the success and smoothness of the execution of any transaction in a timely manner.
Assure the following up on facilities subsequent conditions to ensure continued compliance with agreed terms and conditions and CBE regulations.
Ensure and carry out of field visits to clients.
Review division's related reports; and develop and implement a timeline to achieve targets, conducting quarterly performance reviews & tracking and analyze team performance against KPIs.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in banking with a minimum of 5 years in syndication/structured finance.
Strong Presentation skills.
Strong leadership skills.
Strong understanding of banking products, services, syndications, project finance, corporate finance, credit analysis, and risk management.
