System Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Admin Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing our servers and IT infrastructure. This role requires hands-on experience with system administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers and operating systems (Linux and/or Windows).
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
• Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures.
• Apply patches, updates, and security configurations.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Maintain system documentation and technical procedures.
• Support and implement IT infrastructure projects.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows Server environments.

Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

Familiarity with networking concepts, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.

Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.

Relevant certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, RHCE, CompTIA Linux+, or similar are a strong advantage.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Linux and/or Windows Server
• User, group, and permission management
• Network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
• System monitoring and log analysis
• Backup and disaster recovery procedures
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• System security and patch management
• Scripting (Bash, PowerShell)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, etc.)
• Good problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
