Roles and Responsibilities:
- Execute server, domain controller, and Active Directory tasks by handling backups, GPOs, user profiles, and data to meet business needs and comply with IT SLAs.
- Update and maintain technical documentation by recording configurations and system changes regularly to support operational continuity and troubleshooting.
- Perform system troubleshooting and issue resolution by collaborating with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely recovery and service availability.
- Conduct daily monitoring of datacenter hardware, server resources, storage, and logs by using diagnostic tools to detect and address issues proactively.
- Develop and implement plans for new systems or technologies by designing solutions and training technical staff to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
- Apply high-availability strategies by using methods like load balancing and disaster recovery to minimize system downtime and risk.
- Carry out scheduled backup operations by using tools such as Veritas, WSB, NTBackup, and Veeam to protect data and ensure recovery readiness.
- Operate and maintain service-dedicated servers by using System Center and related tools to ensure consistent system functionality and service delivery.
- Track server logs and system activities by auditing for errors and potential security breaches to maintain performance and safeguard infrastructure.
- Support Microsoft cloud services by assisting with Exchange Online, Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint to enable smooth user operations and resolve technical issues.
Pre-requisites (Education, Professional Experience)
- Bachelors degree in computer engineering or a related field
- 3 years of experience in administering/implementing or maintaining different types of Operating systems (Microsoft products, Linux, UNIX, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with VMware VCP virtualization technologies.
