Job Summary
We are seeking a Techno-Functional System Analyst experienced in collateral management and clearing business to support the bank's treasury division across multiple countries, focusing on Commodities, Credit Derivative, FXD, IRD, FX, MM, and Fixed Income products.
Responsibilities
Analyze and translate complex business requirements into comprehensive solution designs for collateral and clearing systems.
Lead user requirements workshops and model transactions to ensure alignment with business needs.
Independently perform detailed business analysis to propose effective solutions for process improvements and functional requirements.
Capture, specify, and document business requirements for implementation in collateral and clearing projects.
Collaborate with IT teams across infrastructure and divisions to deliver integrated system solutions.
Engage stakeholders to understand priorities, communicate effectively, and manage expectations.
Coordinate and support testing activities, validate test cases, and resolve issues during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Manage System Integration Testing (SIT) and UAT phases to ensure quality delivery.
Plan and manage project deliverables, including system enhancements and upgrades, within budget and schedule.
Coordinate cross-stream dependencies to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
Monitor and manage risks and issues related to project delivery.
Assist with production implementation and provide post-delivery support to maintain system stability.
Required competencies and certifications
In-depth knowledge of either Clearing or Collateral business.
Ability to perform complex business analysis, requirement gathering, and system impact analysis independently.
Thorough understanding of bank front office and back-office operations, risk, finance, and accounting.
Strong knowledge of treasury products including product characteristics, trade life cycle, market operations, risk management, and P&L calculation.
Experience engaging stakeholders and communicating effectively to align business and technical teams.
Experience implementing enhancements using a mix of waterfall and agile methodologies.
Proficient in creating functional specification documentation and designing test cases.
Experience with any Murex module.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Knowledge of Murex functions including accounting, contract/event/settlement workflow, and OSP.
Understanding of front-to-back trade life cycle.
Understanding of accounting schemas for various asset classes.
Strong technical background.
