Summary:
Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining MEDGULFs enterprise system environments. This includes managing virtualized infrastructure, operating systems, directory and DNS services, and ensuring secure, efficient, and continuous system operations in alignment with infrastructure and security policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers and system software.
- Administer virtual environments and monitor performance to ensure reliability.
- Manage Active Directory (AD), DNS, and SSL certificates.
- Implement and maintain system security configurations in line with internal policies.
- Manage and monitor antivirus and vulnerability detection tools.
- Ensure systems comply with security and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct routine system updates, patching, and performance optimization.
- Monitor infrastructure health and address potential system issues proactively.
- Maintain access controls and keep permissions aligned with business roles.
- Execute and monitor backup procedures in coordination with backup teams.
- Support the disaster recovery environment and continuity readiness.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving system-related technical issues.
- Coordinate with IT teams for issue escalation and root cause analysis.
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Support infrastructure projects such as upgrades, deployments, and migrations.
- Contribute to system-related reports, including incident and audit data.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 years of relevant experience in system administration or infrastructure roles.
- Experience managing Windows/Linux servers, virtualized environments, and core system services.
Preferred Certifications:
- VMware (VCP, VCP-DCV, VSAN)
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator
- CompTIA Network+, Security+, or A+
- RHEL Certification (RHCE)
