- Support System engineering team in the production and management of CAD drawings related to railway wayside systems.
- The CAD Operator is responsible for developing and maintaining 2D drawings in accordance with project standards and design requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Produce and update CAD drawings and some times BIM models based on engineering inputs and installation requirements.
- Analyse Design and installation drawings received from civil work partners and ensure proper integration of subsystem equipment within the infrastructure.
- Participate in internal design coordination activities including clash detection and volume clearance verification.
- Apply BIM Execution Plan and CAD manual instructions when producing drawings and Reviewing Models .
- Ensure proper use of the project CDE environment and respect of document codification rules.
- Support civil interface and BIM manager in the preparation and verification of technical deliverables.
- Collaborate with other modelling teams to ensure consistency between system and civil works models.
- The role may support design integration at turnkey level or work directly with wayside subsystem design teams.
