Key Responsibilities:
System Requirements Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document system requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project objectives.
System Architecture Design:
- Develop system architecture, defining the structure and components needed to meet requirements, considering factors such as functionality, performance, and scalability.
- Define and manage interfaces between system components, ensuring compatibility and effective communication between subsystems.
Verification and Validation:
- Develop and implement verification and validation plans to ensure that the system meets specified requirements and standards throughout the development lifecycle.
- Identify and assess technical and project risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful system implementation.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system requirements, design specifications, and test plans, to facilitate communication and project continuity.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to system development.
Configuration Management:
- Implement and manage configuration control processes to track changes to the system throughout its lifecycle.
- Contribute to system lifecycle planning, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance phases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- With at least 8+ years of proven experience in systems engineering, with a focus on complex engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in modelling and simulation tools, such as MATLAB, Simulink, or others relevant to the specific industry.
- Familiarity with requirements management tools and configuration management processes.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
