Systems Engineer – Infrastructure & Virtualization (Kuwait-Based)

Job Description (JD)About the Role

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to design, build, optimize, and maintain our core enterprise IT infrastructure.

Important Note: This is not an IT Support or Helpdesk/System Admin role. We are looking for an experienced Engineers who specializes in infrastructure design, virtualization, server engineering, and automated environment deployment.

• Location: Kuwait (Local candidates only)
• Experience: 2 to 5 years
• Visa Requirement: Transferable Visa 18 (Kuwait Residency required)
• Notice Period: Immediate Joiner to Maximum 15 Days

Key Responsibilities

• System Architecture & Design: Design, build, and deploy multi-site virtualized environments (VMware ESXi / Hyper-V) and enterprise server architecture (Windows Server / Linux).
• High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Design, test, and execute Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) plans, backup architectures (Veeam / Veritas), and storage systems (SAN / NAS / RAID).
• Infrastructure Security: Implement security-by-design standards, system hardening, and access control governance in compliance with enterprise frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001).
• System Engineering & Optimization: Troubleshoot deep architectural bottlenecks, manage cloud/hybrid integration (AWS / Azure), and automate system updates.
• Escalation Point: Serve as the senior technical escalation point for critical system outages that L2 support/admins cannot resolve.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

• Location & Residency: Currently residing in Kuwait with a valid, transferable Article 18 Visa.
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated experience as a Systems Engineer (or Infrastructure Engineer). (Candidate backgrounds consisting strictly of end-user IT Support or Desktop Admin will not be considered).
• Core Technical Skills:
• Virtualization (VMware ESXi, vCenter, Hyper-V).
• Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) & Active Directory / Group Policy design.
• SAN/NAS Storage management and RAID array configuration.
• Disaster recovery execution and backup management.
• Basic scripting (PowerShell/Bash) for task automation.
• Availability:Immediate joiner or maximum 15-day notice period.
