System Integration and Test Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Integration Test Engineer to drive system-level and integration testing across complex, multi-component environments.

This position is centred on testing, validation, troubleshooting and configuration rather than software development or building integrations. It is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded test professional who enjoys working beyond the user interface to validate behaviour across APIs, services and network layers.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring systems operate effectively end-to-end, while supporting root-cause analysis and issue resolution across multiple interconnected platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead system-level and integration testing across multiple subsystems and environments
• Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases and test procedures aligned to system requirements
• Validate end-to-end workflows and interactions between systems, not solely front-end or UI functionality
• Carry out initial troubleshooting and issue diagnosis during testing cycles
• Investigate defects using logs, API responses and basic network diagnostic tools
• Use tools such as Postman, cURL, system logs and packet capture tools, including Wireshark or tcpdump, where required
• Support system configuration through user interfaces or configuration files to enable and validate integrations
• Identify likely causes of failures across subsystems and escalate issues appropriately
• Collaborate closely with engineering and integration teams to support the timely resolution of defects
• Assist with customer demonstrations, validation activities and acceptance testing
• Maintain clear and accurate test documentation, defect reports and traceability to requirements

You will be a proactive and detail-oriented test professional with strong experience in integration or system testing in complex technical environments. You will be comfortable investigating issues across multiple layers of a solution and working collaboratively with technical teams to resolve them.
