Key Responsibilities
- Support and manage business-critical applications to ensure stability, performance, and continuity.
- Monitor system availability, load, and performance; resolve application-related incidents and issues.
- Perform application troubleshooting, patching, upgrades, and system enhancements.
- Coordinate with IT teams to implement improvements, upgrades, and capacity planning.
- Provide technical support and training to end users.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, solutions, and trends to improve efficiency.
- Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports related to application performance and operations.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, security, and audit requirements.
- Participate in disaster recovery drills and support business continuity plans.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or related field.
- 3 4 years of experience in IT Application Support, preferably in the financial sector.
Technical Skills
- IT Operations in financial environments.
- APIs and system integrations (JSON, XML).
- Databases, query writing, and application troubleshooting.
- Windows & Linux servers.
- IT security, vulnerability assessment, and mitigation.
- DevOps (on-prem), application monitoring, and system architecture.
- Incident & Problem Management.
- Internal and external IT audits.
