The role is responsible for sales incentive/ commission calculation business & system processes on a daily, monthly & quarterly basis to drive successful launch of new organization products, sales & revenue impacting annual commission payments for 500+ staff and 5,000+ business partners and dealers.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for understanding Du's product catalogues, sales hierarchies, systems, data streams and guide Business on how to translate business & system requirements into sales incentive/ commission scheme documents & change requests for implementation into relevant commission calculation system (current system being SAP Success Factors Incentive Management)
- Carry out commission rule development & rate configurations in commission system in line with approved scheme requirements
- Run commission calculations on a daily, monthly & quarterly basis, validate results and post payments
- Generate VAT/ tax invoices for sales partners, process commission credit & debit notes into relevant Finance ERP system for payment processing with relevant teams
- Support accounting team member with relevant commission accruals calculations, postings & reversals to ensure accurate financial reports & statements
- Enhance commission reporting & analytics for Business & Finance stakeholders while providing insights to management on how to further improve product launch success, profitability & create efficiencies for the organization. Develop & run dynamic Oracle, Hana SQL scripts, procedures to fulfill ever changing reporting requirements for the company
- Act as the 1st level support for all technical teams with regards to the sales commission domain. Support in translating business requirements into technical requirements and manage change requests, projects end to end from requirements gathering, review, approval to solution design review, documentation & execution of test plans & validation of functionality/ results in production environments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering or Information Systems with Finance/ Accounting supporting qualifications a plus
Experience:
- 5 7 years of advanced analytics, reporting experience ideally within the Telecom industry, at least 2-4 years related to IT system configurations e.g., incentive compensation (SAP SuccessFactors Incentive Management), Billing, CRM, ERP DWH systems
- Candidate must have strong experience interpreting and analyzing complicated, disparate, large-scale data sets and visualizing findings in a way that conclusions and recommendations can be easily drawn
- Excellent understanding of business environment, business cases, budgets, sales targets, forecasts, promotions, etc.
- Understanding of Sales Environment, both Consumer and Enterprise
- Exposure to and involvement with commission & incentives for Staff and 3rd parties
- Experience of working in both business and technology related environments
Skills:
- Excellent data analysis skills, understanding of data structures, reporting tools, database software and management systems.
- Strategic thinker with numerical, statistical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to execute the development of Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL and Oracle-based reporting and analysis tools
- In-depth knowledge of reporting systems and programming/query languages (SQL, VBA, Oracle, Hana etc.)
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and coordination skills with the ability to clearly and tactfully communicate sensitive information, research results and conclusions via written reports and presentations
- Strong understanding of sales performance KPIs and incentive/ commission compensation practices
- Highly advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Power BI
