The Role
As the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will be a key player in attracting, selecting, and onboarding top local and international talent across our world-class properties. You will champion the candidate journey, ensuring a smooth and professional process from application through to successful onboarding, aligning with our commitment to creating memorable guest experiences and developing local talent. Collaboration with hiring managers, department leaders, and the wider HR team will be central to ensuring we hire individuals who not only align with our values of luxury hospitality, excellence, and innovation but also support the growth of local talent within the organization.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator you will deliver a best-in-class candidate experience, with a particular emphasis on sourcing and developing local talent, while supporting the broader Talent Acquisition and HR functions to meet our ambitious hiring goals.
- Interview Coordination: Seamlessly coordinate interviews between local and international candidates, hiring managers, and the Talent Acquisition team. Ensure a timely and high-touch experience, reflective of our luxury brand standards.
- Candidate Engagement: Conduct pre-screening interviews with prospective candidates, with a focus on local talent development, to assess qualifications, cultural alignment, and commitment to excellence. Ensure we hire individuals who align with our values and contribute to our strategic focus on empowering local talent.
- Job Offer Management: Prepare, present, and follow up on job offers, ensuring a smooth handover from candidate acceptance to their onboarding journey, particularly supporting the integration of local talent into the organization.
- Onboarding Support: Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to facilitate a seamless onboarding process, ensuring that local hires are welcomed and integrated into their roles with the utmost care, fostering their growth within the company.
- Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management: Maintain and update our ATS, ensuring accurate candidate records, communications, and application statuses. Provide reporting on recruitment progress, with a focus on tracking and supporting local talent pipelines.
- Time Management: Effectively prioritize tasks, managing interview schedules, candidate follow-ups, and recruitment deadlines to ensure all processes are completed efficiently and within set timelines.
- Local Talent Sourcing: Support the development and execution of strategies to attract local talent by building relationships with educational institutions, community organizations, and local career networks. Ensure that job postings highlight our commitment to local talent development.
- Brand Alignment: Support the creation of job postings and recruitment materials that align with our luxury brand, emphasizing our dedication to hiring and developing local talent. Share our story and values on career portals and social media channels, appealing to both local and international audiences.
- Diversity & Inclusion: Prepare and analyze reports on diversity metrics, contributing to our goal of fostering an inclusive workforce that reflects both global diversity and local communities.
- Candidate Shortlisting: Efficiently shortlist candidates using the ATS, Career Portal, LinkedIn, and other platforms, ensuring diverse and qualified candidate pools with an emphasis on supporting local talent recruitment efforts.
- Training Delivery: Provide training to hiring managers on interview best practices and the use of recruitment tools, ensuring consistency across properties and departments, and equipping them to better engage with local talent.
- Candidate Rejection: Maintain a luxury-level candidate experience even for those not selected, drafting personalized and professional rejection emails to uphold our brand reputation.
- Collaboration on Job Descriptions: Partner with hiring managers to regularly review and update job descriptions, ensuring they reflect evolving role responsibilities and highlight the importance of hiring local talent.
- Talent Database Management: Maintain an organized and up-to-date talent database, ensuring meticulous records of candidate progress and engagement, with specific attention to nurturing local talent pools.
- Special Projects: Participate in strategic HR and talent acquisition projects that enhance our recruitment capabilities, particularly those that focus on developing and promoting local talent.
Key Relationships:
- Candidates: Foster meaningful connections with candidates, guiding them through each stage of the recruitment process with the attention and care characteristic of our brand, while actively promoting opportunities for local talent.
- Hiring Managers: Partner with hiring managers to ensure a clear understanding of talent needs, provide updates on recruitment progress, and assist them in identifying and supporting local talent growth.
- HR and Talent Acquisition Team: Work alongside the Talent Acquisition and HR team to share best practices and contribute to team-wide goals, with a focus on attracting and retaining local talent.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Support inter-departmental recruitment initiatives, ensuring alignment between operational needs, talent acquisition strategy, and the development of local talent within the organization.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in talent acquisition or HR coordination, preferably within luxury hospitality or high-end service industries, with a demonstrated focus on local talent recruitment.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using and managing applicant tracking systems, career portals, and MS Office Suite.
- Cultural Awareness: Understanding of the luxury hospitality industry and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a focus on local talent development.
