We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Officer with a solid background in the construction industry. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of sourcing, screening, and successfully placing candidates across a wide range of construction roles within the GCC region, with preference given to those with direct Qatar/KSA experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for construction positions including engineers, supervisors, skilled tradespeople, and site staff
- Source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and talent databases
- Coordinate with project managers and department heads to understand manpower requirements and timelines
- Maintain a pipeline of pre-qualified candidates for critical and recurring construction roles
- Handle documentation, visa coordination, and onboarding requirements for new hires
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company hiring policies throughout the recruitment process
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of talent acquisition experience specifically in the construction industry
- Proven track record of successful placements across multiple construction roles and project types
- Prior GCC experience is required; candidates with Qatar-based experience are strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with labor laws across multiple countries (e.g., Qatar, KSA, and source countries such as India, Philippines, Nepal)
- Experience recruiting for large-scale infrastructure or mega-projects
- Ability to communicate in Arabic or other regional languages
- SHRM or CIPD certification is an advantage
