Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical, operational, and corporate roles from job posting, sourcing, and screening through to interviewing, selection, and offer preparation.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and workforce planning needs. Source candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and professional networks. Conduct competency-based interviews, coordinate technical assessments, and ensure key recruitment KPIs are met (time-to-hire, quality of hire, candidate experience).
  • Recruit for specialized industrial profiles including mechanical engineers, production operators, welders, quality technicians, maintenance staff, and supply chain roles.
  • Collaborate with plant managers and production leaders to anticipate staffing needs and ensure compliance with sector-specific certifications and safety requirements. Support employer branding efforts within the manufacturing and rolling stock space.
  • Beyond recruitment, support training and development programs through session scheduling, attendance tracking, and training matrix updates.
  • Use SAP HR modules to manage personnel data, recruitment workflows, and training records. Assist with onboarding and integration of new hires, and contribute to broader HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment documentation, prepare monthly HR and recruitment activity reports, and ensure compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and GDPR requirements. Participate in audits and process reviews as needed.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 35 years in a recruitment role, ideally within manufacturing, industrial engineering, or rolling stock environments. Prior exposure to broader HR functions (training, onboarding, HR administration) is a strong plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with ATS and recruitment platforms SAP HR / SuccessFactors experience HR reporting and training management Strong MS Excel skills
  • Competencies: Strong communication and stakeholder management Ability to handle multiple vacancies simultaneously Analytical mindset (leveraging finance/accounting background) High organization, accuracy, and confidentiality Proactive and collaborative approach
  • Preferred: Experience recruiting technical profiles in railway, rolling stock, automotive, or industrial machinery sectors Competency-based interview and assessment expertise Familiarity with health & safety training requirements in industrial settings
