Position Overview:

The Talent Acquisition Team Leader will lead the recruitment function for EDECS's diverse business sectors. This role is responsible for designing and executing robust sourcing strategies, managing a high-performing TA team, and ensuring that our projects are staffed with the best engineering and operational talent in the industry. You will act as a strategic partner to leadership, ensuring our people pipeline matches our project pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Talent Sourcing & Planning

  • Analyze project pipelines to forecast future hiring needs, ensuring a proactive rather than reactive approach to talent.

Team Leadership & Performance

  • Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of the TA team, setting clear KPIs related to time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and cost-per-hire.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and speed, ensuring the team remains motivated in a fast-paced construction environment.

Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

  • Elevate EDECS's employer brand across digital platforms and industry networks to attract top-tier regional talent.
  • Ensure a seamless and professional candidate journey, from the first touchpoint to successful onboarding.

Process Optimization & Technology

  • Streamline recruitment workflows and leverage ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) to improve data accuracy and reporting.
  • Implement innovative sourcing techniques, including headhunting, social selling, and global networking.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate closely with Sector Heads and Project Managers to understand technical requirements and cultural fit.
  • Provide regular TA Vacancy Reports and data-driven insights to top management regarding market trends and salary benchmarks.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, or CIPD) is highly preferred.

Experience

  • 7-9 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Proven track record in the Construction, Engineering, or Oil & Gas industries is a must.
  • Extensive experience in regional hiring (KSA, UAE, and Africa).

Core Competencies

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align recruitment efforts with long-term organizational growth.
  • Technical Sourcing: Expert knowledge of sourcing for niche engineering and offshore construction roles.
  • Communication: Exceptional negotiation and influential skills to engage with high-level stakeholders and executive candidates.
  • Agility: Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment with changing priorities.
