Job Description

As a Learning and Development Supervisor, you will be managing and delivering training and development activities within the company to enhance employees behavioral and technical skills, including leadership competencies that support succession planning and overall career development.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning and execution of technical and behavioral training needs analysis (TNA) using various methods such as interviews, surveys, and checklists to identify performance gaps compared to expected standards.
  • Collect technical training requests from department managers and assess their relevance to the job requirements and potential impact on employee performance using the same TNA methodology.
  • Coordinate and execute internal or external training programs by ensuring timely submission of training forms, consolidating requests, and monitoring implementation of the training plan.
  • Prepare training budget forecasts using ratio analysis of past expenditures, collect quotations from training providers, and select the most suitable based on quality and cost.
  • Analyze and forecast the annual training calendar, assign a team member to design the calendar based on employee availability, and coordinate with vendors to obtain technical and financial proposals.
  • Review training proposals with department managers and select the most suitable provider based on course content, cost, and alignment with company policies.
  • Ensure training providers comply with company policies regarding company size, trainer expertise, and certification standards, and conduct periodic quality audits with corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage the design and delivery of internal training programs, ensuring alignment with training needs and quality standards of content and facilitation by internal trainers.
  • Supervise training evaluation through participant feedback and assess the impact of training on employee performance via periodic interviews or observations.
  • Oversee training logistics including session grouping, attendance tracking, certificate issuance, material preparation, and feedback form distribution.
  • Support the development of internal digital learning systems by designing a platform to host training content and enable online course booking.
  • Coordinate with universities to deliver training programs for students and graduates in collaboration with the Employer Branding function.

Requirements

  • From 5 to 7 years of experience, (minimum 2 years in managing a team)
  • Professional diploma/Certificate: TOT, IDLX, ITM
  • Advanced Leadership Skills, in terms of monitoring and coaching
  • Advanced MS Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint Skills, or any related Ai tool.
