Position: TAX Accountant
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced TAX Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all tax-related activities for the company, ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws, and maximizing tax efficiency. This is a full-time, permanent position based in 6th of October City, Egypt.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes, in compliance with local laws and regulations
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure the company's tax strategies are up-to-date and in compliance with all requirements
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate tax records and documentation
- Conduct tax research and provide guidance to management on tax-related matters
- Liaise with external tax advisors and authorities as needed
- Assist with tax audits and investigations
- Monitor and review tax payments and ensure timely and accurate payment
- Work closely with the finance and accounting team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax-related information
- Provide support and guidance to other departments on tax matters
- Keep abreast of industry trends and developments in tax laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or other relevant certification is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in the real estate industry
- Strong knowledge of local and international tax laws and regulations
- Experience with tax planning and compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required
