Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Senior Tax Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for managing corporate tax matters across MENA and APAC operations, with support from the wider tax team and external advisers.
The position suits a proactive, hands on professional who thrives in a fast paced, evolving environment and enjoys partnering closely with the business.
Skills and Experience
- Qualified accountant or tax adviser
- Minimum 8 years tax experience within a multinational organisation
- In house experience preferred, ideally within financial services
- Strong corporate tax and international tax knowledge across MENA or APAC
- Experience across both regions is highly desirable
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
- Hands on, proactive approach to daily responsibilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and build trusted business relationships
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary tax point of contact for regional stakeholders across finance, legal, commercial, and related functions
- Provide tax assurance and alignment across shared regional workstreams
- Implement and maintain transfer pricing policies and supporting documentation, with adviser support
- Own direct tax compliance and reporting for legal entities across MENA and APAC
- Manage relationships with outsourced tax compliance service providers
- Provide direct tax advice on strategic and ad hoc initiatives, including international expansion and new product launches
- Work closely with the wider Tax team on automation initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Support group led tax initiatives including Pillar Two, country by country reporting, and cash tax management
