Tax Specialist

StoneGate Corporate Services is a Dubai-based corporate service provider supporting entrepreneurs, family offices and high-net-worth individuals with company formations, corporate administration, accounting, tax compliance and private client services.

We are growing our Accounting & Tax team and are looking for an experienced tax professional to advise our clients directly.

The role

You will join our Dubai team full time and work with our accounting and tax colleagues to deliver compliant, practical tax advice across free zone, mainland and offshore structures. You will be a trusted point of contact for clients, in person and on video calls.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on UAE Corporate Tax and VAT, including registration, structuring, planning and ongoing compliance
• Prepare, review and file tax returns and related submissions with the FTA, acting as the registered Tax Agent
• Assess Qualifying Free Zone Person status, Small Business Relief, transfer pricing and other regime-specific questions
• Support accounting teams on tax treatment, reconciliations and year-end closing
• Handle FTA correspondence, audits and clarification requests
• Keep up with new legislation, Cabinet decisions and FTA guidance, and translate them into clear advice for clients
• Contribute to proposals, client onboarding and internal compliance procedures

Requirements

• Registered Tax Agent with the UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the UAE as an accountant and tax specialist
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field; a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, CTA or equivalent) is strongly preferred
• Strong working knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax and VAT
• Excellent spoken and written English; confident, well-spoken and comfortable advising clients in person and by video
• Able to join within 2 months
• Based in Dubai, or willing to relocate with a valid UAE work eligibility

Nice to have

• Experience with private clients, HNWI or family office structures
• Exposure to DNFBP/AML-CFT compliance
• Additional languages (French, Arabic) are a plus
