TBM Analyst (Financial Analysis) is responsible for conducting Technology Business Management (TBM) analysis and support under the guidance and direction of TBM management, Technology Finance, and Technology
Management. The TBM Analyst supports the TBM model to ensure that the various departments within Technology drive a reduction in IT Unit costs and maximize the IT resource utilization as well as ensuring the department is being run in line with industry standards.
This role will manage complex billing and benefits realization of large and complex IT projects within an Enterprise organization.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with IT Management team and Group Finance on Technology `Total Cost of Ownership financial metrics, and cost transparency initiatives.
- Act as a single point of contact for the Business Information Officers and other Technology management teams on Financial/Technical metrics and the TBM Cost model
- Develop and implement a benefits realization framework that traces IT project benefits from conception to realisation and post-implementation. Monitor, evaluate, and report on the realized benefits throughout the project lifecycle.
- Continuously track IT projects to ensure they are in alignment with their original business case and objectives. Analyse the outcomes of IT projects assessing their impact and realisation of expected benefits and conduct a post-implementation review to evaluate the impact and benefits realisation of IT Projects.
- Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders on the progress of IT project and the anticipated benefits. Collaborate with various IT teams and business units to facilitate effective benefits management and realisation.
- Ensure all projects align with the strategic objectives and deliver anticipated benefits. Facilitate strategic alignment workshops and sessions, promoting a unified approach towards benefits realisation.
This job might be for you if you have experience with:
- Min 5 years relevant experience
- Degree in Computer science, Computational Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Relevant experience in a large multinational Technology Organisation preferred
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills for IT financials
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to executive management audiences Infrastructure background
- Data analytics, data mining, and advanced analytical and big data analysis skills
- Previous experience working with scripting and report building
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively with multiple levels of management and staff across the organization
- Experience in IT infrastructure domains including cloud computing, data centers, network/communications, server utilization, virtual environments, storage, and application development.
- Knowledge of IT services and financial management processes and best practices such as budgeting, cost application/infrastructure support
