Teaching Assistant

Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Teaching Assistant role based in Dubai. The Teaching Assistant will support classroom teachers in delivering EYFS-aligned lessons, preparing learning materials, and organising classroom activities. Responsibilities include working directly with children in small groups or one-on-one, assisting with behaviour management, and reinforcing key concepts in literacy and numeracy. The role also involves supervising children during transitions, playtime, and outings, as well as helping to maintain a safe, tidy, and inclusive classroom environment. The Teaching Assistant will collaborate with educators to track student progress, provide feedback, and support communication with families as needed.

Qualifications:

• CACHE Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in Early Years Education or Childcare is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• Strong understanding of child development and early years learning frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and colleagues.
• Strong organisational and classroom support skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and educational technology tools is an advantage.
