About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Lead - Food & Beverage to join Amara Lounge -Service in Jumeirah Living Marina Gate.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Coordinate operational, organizational, and administrative activities within the Food & Beverage department, ensuring compliance with Jumeirah standards, policies, and objectives.
- Support the development and execution of annual business and sales plans, while monitoring outlet performance and identifying opportunities to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
- Assist in implementing sales initiatives, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities to drive revenue growth and increase guest engagement.
- Monitor market trends, guest preferences, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for service enhancement and revenue generation.
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members through effective coaching, training, performance management, and ongoing feedback.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels, effective shift planning, and team readiness to meet operational and guest service requirements.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Food & Beverage supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or upscale lounge environment.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong operational knowledge of restaurant, lounge, bar, and banquet operations, with a commitment to service excellence and guest satisfaction.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate multicultural teams while maintaining high standards of professionalism and performance.
- Sound understanding of financial controls, including budgeting, cost management, inventory control, and revenue optimization.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
