Team Lead Channels

About the Role

Doha Bank is seeking an experienced Team Lead – Enterprise Channels to lead the development, integration, and support of the Bank's digital banking platforms. This role will be responsible for overseeing a team of developers and specialists, driving the delivery of enterprise channel solutions, and ensuring the stability, security, and performance of Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, API integrations, and other digital banking services.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in application development, leadership experience, and proven expertise in banking or financial services technology environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of application developers and specialists responsible for enterprise channel solutions.
• Oversee the design, development, implementation, and support of Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, and Digital Banking applications.
• Drive the integration of enterprise channels with core banking systems, payment systems, and third-party applications.
• Review solution designs, technical specifications, and code to ensure quality, security, and scalability.
• Manage application releases, deployments, incident resolution, and production support activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, project teams, and infrastructure teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Participate in digital transformation initiatives and recommend innovative technology solutions.
• Mentor and develop team members while promoting best practices in software development and Agile delivery.
• Monitor application performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in application development, integration, and support.
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading technical teams or software development projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with: C#, ASP.NET / .NET Core. SQL Server and/or Oracle, REST APIs and Web Services, Azure DevOps, Git.
• Experience with enterprise application architecture and system integration.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech organizations.
• Exposure to: Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Digital Channels, Payment Systems, Core Banking Integrations
• Knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with Microservices Architecture and CI/CD practices.

Banking experience or exposure to banking projects is a MUST.
