Team Leader, Geosteering (RNS)

JOB PURPOSE:
Manages a team of Engineers, RNS to provide professional reservoir navigation/geosteering support to operational sites to ensure all drilling operations are carried out successfully in line with the well prognosis and plan.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Job Specific Accountabilities
uF0B7 Supervises the technical support provided for Reservoir Navigation/Geosteering operations including pre/post well 2D interpretation/modeling and log production/QC (Quality Control).
uF0B7 Provides technical advice and guidance on Reservoir Navigation/Geosteering operations.
uF0B7 Manages and approves the execution of service contracts including quarterly allocation of services to contractors.
uF0B7 Secures additional services needed for expansion of work including new rigs, new fields and special projects.
uF0B7 Manages and monitors contractoru2019s performance and the allocation of services based on market share and capabilities.
uF0B7 Supervises the introduction of new Geosteering/RNS technologies.
uF0B7 Manages special projects as assigned.
uF0B7 Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
uF0B7 Bachelor's Degree in Geosciences or a related earth science discipline.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
uF0B7 8 yearsu2019 of experience in drilling services.
uF0B7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
uF0B7 Excellent problem-solving skills with a drive for results.
