Team Leader Retail - Hiring UAE National

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide the retail sales team during daily operations.
• Allocate duties, shifts, break schedules, and floor responsibilities.
• Drive the team to achieve daily/monthly sales targets and KPIs.
• Monitor individual and team performance and provide regular coaching and feedback.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and customer experience.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
• Conduct daily team briefings and communicate targets, promotions, and operational updates.
• Support upselling, cross-selling, and promotional activities.
• Ensure merchandise is correctly displayed, priced, replenished, and available.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory/store teams.
• Ensure compliance with cash-handling, POS, store policies, and operational procedures.
• Maintain store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and brand standards.
• Support onboarding and training of new retail staff.
• Prepare basic sales, attendance, productivity, and operational reports.
• Coordinate with Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager on operational and staffing requirements.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of retail sales, customer service, and store operations.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage KPIs.
• Strong people-management, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and inventory processes.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• UAE/GCC retail experience would be an advantage.
