About the Job:

Leads the workshop team to ensure the effective planning, execution, and management of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational excellence. Responsible for overseeing the preparation, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment, while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Ensures alignment with organizational goals and contributes to the development of strategies to optimize workshop operations and resource utilization. Promotes a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to meet operational requirements and achieve business objectives. Provides leadership and guidance to the team, fostering professional growth and development. Ensures adherence to company policies, procedures, and international

standards in all workshop activities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Job Specific:

u2022 Plan and supervise the preparation, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment to ensure timely and efficient operations.

u2022 Lead the workshop team in executing maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational excellence.

u2022 Review and recommend improvements in workshop processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

u2022 Oversee the implementation of HSE policies and procedures within the workshop environment.

u2022 Facilitate the development and execution of maintenance planning strategies and schedules.

u2022 Supervise the inspection and testing of equipment to ensure quality and reliability.

u2022 Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet operational requirements and resolve issues.

u2022 Monitor and manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability and cost-effectiveness.

u2022 Prepare and review technical documentation, including engineering drawings and specifications.

u2022 Lead the implementation of lean practices, such as the 5S Model, to improve workshop operations.

u2022 Guide the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.

Budgets and Operational Plans

u2022 Compile and provide input for preparation of the Department budgets and regularly monitor expenditure

against approved the team budget levels.

u2022 Investigate, highlight, and reconcile any significant variances to ensure effective performance and cost

control.

Minimum Requirtments:

u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Mechatronics preferred).

u2022 A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance of diving equipment with at least five

(5) years of this experience must have been in a managerial or supervisory position.

u2022 Five (05) years of offshore experience.

u2022 Experienced in all forms of diving equipment (ROV, Umbilicalu2019s, LARS etc.)

u2022 Valid UAE Driveru2019s License

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:

u2022 IMCA Air Dive Supervisor Certificate (must be current)

u2022 Valid H2S Awareness / Escape BA Training.

u2022 Offshore survival with valid Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET)

u2022 Must be able to gain CICPA for all UAE sites

u2022 Valid technical/maintenance course for ROV System
