Architect Advisor — Cross-Border Payments

Corrio is building cross-border B2B payment infrastructure using stablecoins as an internal settlement layer.

Clients pay in fiat and beneficiaries receive fiat, while stablecoins such as USDC, EURC and RLUSD are used inside the payment flow to reduce reliance on correspondent-bank chains and pre-funded local currency pools.

We are launching from the UAE, with the EU as our second regulated hub, and are building a multi-corridor payment platform covering fiat collection, stablecoin settlement, FX, routing, off-ramp and payout infrastructure.

We're looking for a senior Architect Advisor to work with our technical team on an hourly, part-time basis.

The role will include:

Architecture reviews and technical design discussions
Cross-border payment and settlement flow design
Payment orchestration and routing
Ledger, reconciliation and transaction lifecycle architecture
Banking rail, PSP, stablecoin and liquidity-provider integrations
Reliability, idempotency and durable execution patterns
Reviewing key technical decisions as the platform scales across corridors

Expected workload: 5–15 hours/month

Engagement: Hourly paid, flexible / remote

Ideal background: Staff / Principal Engineer, Architect, Chief Architect or equivalent experience building payment infrastructure at a strong payments, remittance, banking infrastructure or fintech company.

A major advantage is prior experience at a tier-1 cross-border payments or stablecoin infrastructure company, such as BVNK, Conduit, Bridge, Nium or a comparable platform.

As a rough benchmark, we consider tier-1 experience to include companies with either:

$10B+ annual TPV, or
$30M+ in venture funding

Direct experience with high-volume payment routing, treasury/liquidity, ledgering, reconciliation, fiat/stablecoin settlement or multi-market payment infrastructure is particularly relevant.
