We are currently looking for a
Technical & Asset Manager, for Doha, Qatar.
Mission:
- Lead six key functions covering Asset Management, GIS, Handover/Takeover, IT & OT, Innovation, and Technical Studies, ensuring the reliability, performance, digitalization, and continuous improvement of water and wastewater infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Asset Management: lifecycle optimization, asset inventory, preventive maintenance, CMMS/Maximo, reliability, RCM/FMECA and RCA.
- GIS: management of sewer, stormwater, groundwater and TSE network data, mapping, operational information and maintenance support.
- Handover/Takeover: technical and operational readiness of new facilities, commissioning, documentation, training, spare parts, Maximo and HSE preparation.
- IT & OT: management of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, SCADA, PLC/RTU, automation, telemetry and instrumentation.
- Innovation: digital transformation, smart asset management, predictive maintenance, AI, remote monitoring, energy efficiency, climate resilience and sustainability.
- Technical Studies: engineering studies, improvement proposals, technical-commercial offers, operational defect resolution and studies for new facilities.
- Leadership: manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients, contractors, surveyors, maintenance teams and SAUR Group technical resources.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental or related field); Master's degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in asset management, infrastructure operations, or utilities (water/wastewater sector preferred), in the water or wastewater fields.
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams across engineering, maintenance, GIS, IT/OT, and technical projects.
- Strong knowledge of Asset Management principles, lifecycle planning, reliability engineering (RCM, FMECA, RCA), and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Good understanding of GIS systems and spatial asset management.
- Experience in commissioning, handover/takeover of infrastructure assets, and technical documentation management.
- Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English. Arabic fluency is an advantage
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
