Job Description

Purpose of the Job

A highly skilled Technical Consultant will be responsible for providing technical support regarding a spectrum of software, optimize software application performance, install updates and perform debugging procedures and assistance to end-users across the organization for various applications. The Technical Consultant will work closely with the IT team to troubleshoot technical issues, provide guidance on application use and ensure that allapplications are operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis on software application functionality and suggesting improvements.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users for various applications including troubleshooting issues, diagnosing problems, and providing solutions.
  • Respond to support tickets in a timely manner and maintain communication with users throughout the resolution process.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the efficient functioning of all applications and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Install, configure, and maintain applications and their corresponding hardware and software systems.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base articles, training materials and documentation to support end users.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of IT projects and initiatives related to applications, including system upgrades and new software installations.
  • Maintain & update application inventory records including licenses and version information.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures related to applications.
  • Perform other duties as requested and maintains quality service to meet the ongoing organizational.

Requirements

  • Requires Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science/IT related field.
  • Based on the education and experience, the grade would vary in line with the HR law.
  • Required certification /license: CISSP, ITIL, CNCT, CCNA, CompTIA A+ or relevant certification.
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Familiarity with various applications ERP, CRM, and other enterprise-level software systems.
  • Experience with IT service management tools.
  • Excellent English language skills (reading, speaking, writing, and listening).
  • Good communication skills and teamwork.
