We are seeking a technical development specialist to join our Education Department as a Technical Consultant to support the expansion and implementation of our Odoo Education Program across the Central Asian region.
The Odoo Education Program connects academic theory from computer science courses with real-world business applications by integrating Odoo's Open Source Code into the classroom.
As a Technical Education Consultant, your mission is to advocate for the adoption and use of our Open Source Code in universities and training centers, empowering future computer engineers to gain hands-on experience and develop practical, industry-relevant skills.
Your role will not only focus on building and managing strong partnerships with educational institutions, but also on delivering these technical workshops to students, advising faculty on best practices, and supporting a seamless integration of Odoo into academic curriculam.
Responsibilities:
- Work with professors, instructors, and administrators to introduce and implement Odoo ERP within business and technical courses.
- Provide technical consultation and tailored guidance on how to effectively integrate Odoo into diverse classroom settings.
- Conduct hands-on workshops and training sessions for both educators and students, ensuring technical comprehension and engagement.
- Develop and support curriculum content that aligns with ERP, business, and IT educational goals.
- Act as a liaison between the education sector and the Odoo to ensure smooth deployment and troubleshooting of the software for educational purposes.
- Organize and manage educational events, including webinars, on-site demos, and competitions that promote the program and build student competency with Odoo.
- Monitor and assess program usage to identify areas for improvement and additional support.
Qualifications:
- Background in computer science; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable delivering presentations and training sessions to varied audiences.
- Project management skills to handle multiple educational partnerships simultaneously.
- Passion for consulting and technology.
- 0-1 year of experience.
Must Have:
- Experience with programming languages (incl. object-oriented), specifically strong knowledge on Python framework.
- Experience with relational databases.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Professional proficiency in English and Russian.
