General Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement advanced building and automation systems, as well as light current systems, across a diverse range of projects. This includes the creation of comprehensive documentation such as Bills of Quantities, Specifications, and Scope of Work, ensuring that all elements are thoroughly detailed and aligned with project goals
- Prepare single-line diagrams, schematic diagrams, and various technical submittals to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to team members and stakeholders
- Function as a system integrator, bringing your valuable knowledge of KNX technology into play, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of intelligent systems
- Critically review client requirement documents and requests to ensure that all customer needs are thoroughly understood and appropriately addressed in your design plans and project execution
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in electrical power or electronics and communications engineering is required, ideally from an accredited institution that provides a strong foundation in the principles of electrical systems and communications technologies. This educational background is essential to understand the complexities associated with electrical infrastructure and its application to modern systems
- Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar role, where they have demonstrated their capabilities in managing projects and implementing engineering solutions effectively, ensuring that they are well-versed in industry best practices and standards
- A solid knowledge of light current systems as well as smart building automations is essential, indicating familiarity with contemporary technologies that contribute to energy efficiency and intelligent building management, thereby supporting sustainable practices in engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software tools is required, as these technologies are vital for the creation and modification of complex engineering designs and schematics that are pivotal in bringing projects from concept to completion
- The ability to perform design value engineering is critically important, as this skill will enable you to analyze and optimize the design aspects of projects, ensuring both functionality and cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary for collaborating effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. The ability to articulate ideas clearly and work harmoniously with others will significantly contribute to the success of projects
