About the Company

Our client is an established and highly respected Landscape design consultancy with an international portfolio of landscape, public realm and masterplanning projects across the Middle East. With a strong technical and delivery-focused environment, they are continuing to invest heavily into BIM, digital workflows and technical excellence across the business.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Technical Design Manager to oversee the quality, coordination and delivery of all technical landscape documentation across the practice.

About the Role

This is a senior technical leadership role focused on the management, coordination and QA/QC of all CAD and BIM production across multiple projects and teams.

Acting as the key point of accountability for technical submissions, you will work closely with Directors, Project Managers, Design Leads and the BIM Manager to ensure all documentation is delivered to the highest standard, fully coordinated and compliant with client and authority requirements.

This is primarily an off-the-tools position suited to someone who enjoys leading technical teams, improving workflows and overseeing complex project delivery rather than daily drafting production work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and overseeing all technical landscape documentation across projects
• Managing CAD and BIM resources, coordination and submissions
• Ensuring all outputs meet QA/QC, authority and company standards
• Coordinating across disciplines including irrigation, lighting and engineering teams
• Reviewing technical drawings, models and clash reports
• Supporting and mentoring technical staff and BIM technicians
• Driving improvements in technical standards, workflows and BIM processes
• Supporting the company's transition towards a Revit-led BIM environment
• Working closely with senior leadership on delivery strategy and technical performance

About You

• Degree qualified within Landscape Architecture, Architecture or a related discipline
• Strong background in technical delivery within landscape architecture or multidisciplinary consultancy environments
• Previous experience managing technical teams, BIM coordinators or CAD technicians
• Excellent understanding of QA/QC processes, technical detailing and authority submissions
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and BIM workflows
• Experience coordinating across multiple disciplines and external consultants
• Confident leading teams, managing deadlines and overseeing complex project delivery
• Middle East project experience
• Can speak Malayalam is essential for the role
