Job Overview
The company is seeking a highly experienced
Design Technical Office Manager to lead and manage all engineering design activities. The role involves overseeing multi-disciplinary design teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality design outputs in compliance with approved codes and regulations, and meeting project timelines and budgets. The position also plays a key role in enhancing departmental performance and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, plan, and organize all design activities for architectural and engineering projects.
- Lead and supervise multi-disciplinary design teams (Architectural, Structural, and MEP).
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure effective team coordination.
- Review, verify, and approve drawings, designs, and technical documents prior to issuance.
- Ensure full compliance with engineering codes, local regulations, approved standards, and company policies.
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of work.
- Monitor design schedules and ensure timely delivery of all project milestones.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve technical challenges, proposing effective engineering solutions.
- Oversee team performance evaluations and prepare periodic technical and progress reports.
- Identify training needs and support the continuous development of team skills.
- Contribute to the preparation of work plans and technical reports for senior management.
- Supervise the implementation of Design QA/QC procedures and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
- Professional certifications or advanced training in BIM or Project Management are an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 1215 years of professional experience in engineering design.
- At least 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience managing design teams.

- In-depth knowledge of engineering codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Total Monthly Salary: EGP 50,000 70,000 (inclusive of housing and transportation allowances).
