Technical Drafter Engineer - Interior Design - for Cairo Office
Role Description:
- We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Technical Drawings engineer for our office in Cairo, Egypt to contribute to technical and detailed drawings package of our interior projects. This role requires a strong experience, understanding and ability to produce detailed, accurate technical drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create comprehensive detailed ID. drawing packages, including detailed 2D plans, working drawings, shop drawings, furniture layouts, material selections, ensuring accuracy and constructability.
- Collaborate with project architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure seamless integration of interior design elements with overall project plans, resolving any conflicts between civil, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines.
- Prepare and develop bills of quantities(BOQs).
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Applied Arts, Fine Arts, Interior Design, or Architecture.
- Minimum of 3 Years of progressive experience in interior design detailed drawing package.
- Demonstrable strong knowledge of finishing materials and installation methodologies.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant design software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
- Experience preparing accurate quantity surveys for interior fit-out works and specifications.
- Experience in the GCC. Gulf region engineering firms works (highly recommended).
- Participate in creating and developing our technical standards (Details and specifications).
- Ability of urgent current joining.
