Technical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for compliance with mall standards.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor fit-out progress and quality of works.
• Coordinate utility connections (power, water, HVAC) and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and local regulations (Dubai Municipality/Civil Defense).
• Manage approvals, documentation, and coordination with tenants, contractors, and consultants.
• Conduct snagging and final inspections prior to store opening.
• Verify fire & life safety systems integration and collect as-built drawings for handover.
• Oversee facility operations, including coordination of housekeeping and security services.
• Monitor and ensure proper functioning of BMS (Building Management Systems) and building services.
• Maintain and track asset management systems, ensuring proper documentation and lifecycle monitoring of mall assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Architectural Engineering.
• 35 years of experience in retail fit-out / mall projects.
• Knowledge of MEP systems, fit-out processes, and construction practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit/BIM is a plus).
• Familiarity with UAE regulations and approval processes.
• Basic understanding of facility management systems (BMS, CAFM, asset tracking).
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
