Role Purpose
Responsible for installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, production equipment, ensuring machines are correctly integrated (mechanically, electrically, and via software/control systems) and kept running at optimal uptime.
Key Responsibilities
Install and commission new production equipment (mechanical, electrical, and controls/software integration)
Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and electronic systems (PLC, HMI, sensors, drives, wiring)
Configure, update, and troubleshoot equipment software/firmware and control parameters
Coordinate with Facilities and suppliers during equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) where applicable
Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical manuals
Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and calibration records
Support root cause analysis for equipment downtime and recommend corrective actions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics,
7 to 10 years experience in industrial equipment installation, commissioning, or repair
Strong hands-on expertise in electrical systems (power, control circuits, PLC/HMI)
Working knowledge of equipment software/firmware configuration and troubleshooting
Ability to read technical and electrical drawings and manuals
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on-site
Preferred
Experience with automated/robotic manufacturing lines
Familiarity with SCADA/MES systems
