Role Description

We are seeking a Technical Designer to join our interior design technical team. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. You will play a crucial role developing well detailed drawing packages and 3D models that meet the specific needs of our projects. You will work closely with the Interior Designers who manage the design projects as well as other team members of the technical team to ensure the accuracy and functionality of all packages developed, contributing to the overall success of our design projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background inRevit & BIM, with between 3 to 5 years of working experience with these tools and has experience in the (high-end) F&B sector. Additionally,2D AutoCAD technical drawings, modelling in 3DsMax and Sketchup working knowledge is a plus, includinga passion for creating detailed and efficient digital assets, making sure all projects are well detailed and meet expected industry standards.

Key Responsibilities (Non-Exhaustive List)

Collaborate with lead/interior designers to understand project requirements and develop fully coherent and detailed 3D models in Revit.

Collaborate with lead/interior designers to understand project requirements and develop fully detailed drawing packages in CAD and/or Revit including plans, sections, millwork and joinery detailing, transition details, and door and window schedules

Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of all works by conducting thorough QA/QC checks and revisions as needed.

Stay informed on industry standards and trends on various software updates, new features, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team to promote continuous improvement.

Perform other duties assigned by the technical team leader and lead designers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or any related field.

3 to 5 years of experience in working with Revit and BIM.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit , BIM, Sketchup, and 3DsMax.

Experience in hospitality and F&B design.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Familiarity with architectural design principles and construction documentation processes.

Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on project requirements.
