Position Overview
Palladium GCC seeks a seasoned technical leader to establish and grow its Energy Practice in the GCC. The Technical Lead will play a pivotal role in delivering complex consulting engagements, developing client solutions, and supporting business development efforts. The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in transmission and distribution, network planning, renewable energy and energy storage with a proven track record in the GCC and international markets. The role will also involve close regional coordination and cooperation with Hill International (a GISI CG company), which has a significant presence in GCC and the global Palladium business.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver strategic consulting engagements for utility and energy sector clients, from initial scoping through execution and impact measurement.
- Develop and execute client roadmaps focused on energy transition, grid modernization, asset management, and digital transformation.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior utility executives and industry stakeholders across the GCC.
- Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities, developing proposals and budgets, and leveraging existing networks.
- Collaborate with other GISI operating companies to design innovative service offerings and cross-selling opportunities.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice development initiatives, including recruitment and training.
- Represent Palladium at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, enhancing the firm's market credibility and visibility.
- Ensure technical excellence and quality control across all deliverables, maintaining best-in-class standards.
- Travel internationally as required to project locations, client meetings, and industry events.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the power sector, with a focus on transmission and distribution, network planning, grid integration, utility modernization, renewable energy, and energy storage.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects in the GCC.
- Deep understanding of utility market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and emerging trends
- Existing relationships with key GCC utility accounts and international donors.
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience in proposal development, client acquisition, and P&L management.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Entrepreneurial spirit: flexibility, resilience, and comfort with risk and ambiguity.
- High level of self-awareness and humility, with excitement about confronting new challenges.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is valued but not required.

- Experience in capital portfolio optimization and asset management.
